The Skuttle brand 60-2 model is 220v, 8.3 Amps, with an output
of 17 gallons/day. For smaller rooms or lower moisture
rooms, consider the 60-1 model.
Maintenance Considerations
The frequency of cleaning your humidifier will depend primarily
on the "hardness" (Mineral Content) of the water
supplied to the unit.
To reduce maintenance, we strongly recommend you use reverse
osmosis (R/O) water in your steam pot humidifier. Without
using reverse osmosis water, this type of humidifier
can require considerable maintenance. Proper maintenance
will help the humidifier operate at a higher
efficiency, reducing operational and maintenance repair cost.
