Precision Furnace Tune-Up and Safety Inspection |
Precision A/C or Heat Pump Tune-Up |
- Check thermostat
- Check Limit/Safety Switches
- Check flame color/burner efficiency
- Check gas grates in furnace
- Test for CO2 & natural gas leaks with an electronic tester
- Lubricate running parts, as needed with 3-1 oil
- Check & adjust belt tension, if applicable
- Check filter & recommend replacement as necessary
- Check flue pipe for cleanliness from furnace to chimney
- Check for back drafting to make sure CO2 is not drafting back down the chimney
- Check furnace fan controls to make sure all stages work
- Check condensate drain & condensate pump
- Check air flow in the duct work
- Visual check for environmental contaminants in the internal chambers
- Inspect humidifier, recommend cleaning and/or water panel change, set for Winter
